Northern Print Solutions is a UK-based commercial printing firm established in 2011. Initially run in a founder-led, reactive manner by the CEO and Visionary, Craig. The business grew to a seven-figure turnover. Craig then began to develop his leadership team including bringing Cath on board whose role has evolved into an Integrator (COO)

The Challenge

Before partnering with Stryde, NPS operated with limited financial systems. Craig, the founder, had all the financial data "in his head," and the business relied heavily on outdated Sage systems and spreadsheets. Financial decisions were largely based on gut feel, and the absence of clear management information left the rest of the team flying blind. During COVID, the situation became critical: a 98% drop in turnover and increased debt from a business partner buyout heightened the urgency for financial transformation.

Our Approach

Stryde transitioned NPS from Sage to Xero, integrated credit control tools, and implemented key reporting measures. We worked closely with Cath, to build robust forecasting, reporting, and budget tools; including a traffic light system for critical decision-making.
